Greetings @eaasi-alliance and @spn_pilot! Forgive the somewhat short notice, but the return of our EaaSI community calls in February (next Tuesday!) sneaked up on me.
If you’ll recall from our last meeting in December 2021, we reached a community consensus that 1) these all-Network EaaSI community calls would move from every month to every other month, and 2) we would attempt to shake up the structure somewhat to focus less on program updates from the EaaSI staff and allow more room for presentation and group discussion of use cases. It seems like we are at a point where everyone would benefit from the specific workflow and curation questions that come up when we say: “how are you using EaaSI?”
So this is an open call for anyone with an EaaSI node (from the hosted service, self- or locally-deployed, updated, not, etc.):
- do you have an EaaSI use case to share with everyone else?
- would you like to screen-share a particular environment?
- have you been experimenting with a piece of software and hit a wall?
- had a recent conversation with another staff member and you think EaaSI might be able to help, but not sure how?
- had an EaaSI success story recently- a good demo, a presentation, a chat with a donor?
Please let me and @jmeyerson know if you’d be willing and able to share with the community next Tuesday. I will re-post our new running Zoom info for 2022 in another thread, but as a reminder, we will be meeting on Tuesday, February 1 at 4:00pm EST/3:00pm CST/1:00pm PST. We will still be playing this new structure by ear a bit as we go, but let’s say that between time for both context and open Q&A (whether from the community to you or you to the community!) you’ll be willing to “take the floor” for at least 15-20 minutes.
