Hi @Cynde_Moya, .TAP Commodore images should work just like d64 or g64 if they are imported as “Floppy” type. VICE should still auto-mount it properly even if it’s a tape image rather than a floppy disk image. (Fair warning though: it seems like VICE’s tape emulation is quite accurate, which is to say, quite slow)
Here is the page on keyboard mapping from the VICE manual - I believe EaaSI uses the default “symbolic” mapping, which unfortunately means the precise mapping of special Commodore keys (RUN/STOP, CLEAR/HOME) a bit unpredictable and dependent on the host keyboard. Are you using a standard 104/5 key QWERTY PC keyboard?

I am using a laptop keyboard. Some of the people at the training will be using – who knows?
I remember now that the VICE and C64 mapping is weird, especially with the “*” and the “2” some of the other specifically Commodore keys. I will do some experiments, it was a lot of trial and error.
