(DUE Fri, February 12) Pilot Activity #2: Scenarios for (Re)Use and Access

Happy February Everyone @us-hosted - it’s already here!

Thank you all so much for completing Activity #1: Institutional Stakeholder Questionnaire last week. We will collate and synthesize everyone’s responses to the questionnaire this week. You can expect a forum discussion post based on some themes that emerged from the group’s responses. The information your teams provided are also helpful in contextualizing future discussions.

Today, you will find a spreadsheet entitled EaaSI Pilot | Activity #2 | Scenarios for (Re)Use and Access in your designated EaaSI Pilot Google Workspace . The goal of our “Scenarios” activity is for each Node team to clearly articulate and document potential software reuse cases that you will work to create and test during EaaSI Formal Testing and EaaSI free play/experimentation time later in the pilot schedule.

Same as Activity #1, we ask that each Node team submit only one spreadsheet - and that the Pilot Node Lead ensure that all members of the Node team are asked to submit at least one scenario for use and access - providing information about each scenario according to the metadata requested in the first row. Definitions of the information requested as well as an example response have been provided for each question.

Please submit your team’s scenarios (and associated metadata) by Friday, February 12
I will review everyone’s responses and we will discuss converging points of interest among cohort members in the SPN Pilot Forum discussion (scheduled for Feb 15).

If you all have any questions about Pilot Activity #2, please post your questions as a reply to this post and tag me.

Thank you all so much!

Hey Jess, the Activity #2 document disappeared from Houghton’s Google Drive and I can’t find it. It was there last week. Can you drop it back into our folder? Thank you!

Hi @us-hosted Cohort Members!

Just a friendly reminder that Activity #2: Scenarios for Use and Access is due this Friday at the close of business. We will build on these use cases as we move forward in our pilot timeline. Next week, during our first group forum discuss - we’ll draw from your responses to both Activity #1 and Activity #2.

Sending you all friendly wishes for the rest of your week!

Best,
Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Were we supposed to have a link to yesterday’s group forum discussion? I realized I missed it because I didn’t have any invitations to the forum.

All the best,
Elena

Hey @ecolon-marrero (and anyone else watching this space)! We’ve been thrown for a loop the last couple days by the extreme weather conditions. Jessica’s grappling with the outages in Texas and I also lost power this morning (far more ordinary mid-winter conditions in central Massachusetts - downed wire in the neighborhood). Apologies, and we’ll get the group discussion activity up ASAP!

I hope the two of you are able to stay warm and safe!

Dear Jessica,

I don’t seem to have the pilot forum meetings on my calendar. I’m sorry if I missed one yesterday.

Do you have the information for future pilot meetings?

Best wishes,

David
