We hope that you all are doing well - healthy, safe, and finding ways to take care of yourselves!
We are mindful that folks may still be taking staggered vacations (THIS IS ENCOURAGED - USE YOUR VACATION TIME!) and that some of you may be in the midst of transition planning from work-from-home back to the office. We are sending all the good energies your way.
This is a friendly reminder about our August EaaSI Monthly call next week. We took a break in July so we hope to ease everyone back into to our monthly discussions with a round robin. We are asking that the Node Lead from each node team be ready to provide a brief update that covers the following:
- Where is your node team with formal testing?
- What are your biggest questions or barriers in rolling EaaSI out as a service for campus? (security and other IT requirements, integration with existing preservation and discovery systems, not enough of a student/faculty user base, etc.)?
- What events, or classes are coming up in the Fall where there might be an opportunity to expand EaaSI user testing at your organization?
- Would members of your node team be interested in participating in a virtual roundtable discussion sometime in the next three months (open to the broader digital curation community) to discuss your participation in the EaaSI pilot and respond to some group discussion questions?
- How can the EaaSI staff support you all?
