Hello again @spn_pilot: the upgrade work on https://hosted.eaasi.cloud this past Saturday was completed within a few hours and access to the hosted service has been restored.
The following fixes and changes were made: please feel free to test or review these changes report in the Support Center if you encounter any new problems.
-
Private Environments can now be deleted
A previous bug in the “Delete” action prevented individual users from deleting their “Private” Environment resources. Since “Private” Environments are unique to the user and can/should not be part of any derivative chain until they are published, deleting them should have no ill consequences. Thus Environment resources marked with the “Private” tag can now be deleted using the “Delete” button in the Actions Menu. Resolves a Known Issue with the hosted service. -
“Fork” Environment Action in Revision History or Environment Details pages now functional
On the Revision History tab of any given Private or Saved Locally Environment, a user can now click the “Fork” button on a previous revision of the Environment to create a new Private Environment resource from that previous revision/state. The user will immediately be taken to the Details page for that new Private copy, which be titled e.g. “[fork]: Environment_Revision_Name Environment_Revision_UUID”. This resolves a Known Issue with the hosted service. -
Bug fixes
- Improved access token refreshing
- If “Relative Mouse (Pointerlock)” option is enabled on an Environment, and the user’s mouse is captured by the running Environment, the user’s mouse is now automatically released back to them when the Environment is shut down and the emulation session ends.
- resolved “NavigationDuplicated” error message that would display when editing metadata on Private Environment resrouces; fixes a Known Issue with the hosted service
-
UI improvements
- Environment Options are now consistent on Details pages and Emulation Project page
- Emulation Project page has been updated to reflect that Environment Options are not editable via the Emulation Project" page
- Text on the Import Resource page better reflects the difference between Content and Software resources
- Improved layout of resource cards to responsively fill white space on Explore/My Resources pages
