This is just a notice to everyone that there is a large, campus-wide maintenance outage of Yale network VMs planned for this upcoming weekend, starting approximately July 17 at 9:00pm U.S. Eastern TIme through sometime early Sunday morning.
While we don’t believe this will directly affect any EaaSI services (it will definitely not interrupt the pilot SPN hosted service, which is on Google Cloud), it is possible that it could disrupt an incoming attempt to save/replicate public Environment resources from Yale’s EaaSI node to another node.
Given the timing, I don’t expect this to affect anyone’s work - service should be fully restored even by the time our Australian partners are up and about on Monday morning 
- but just a heads up on the off-off-chance, if you have a dire need to run a public Environment this weekend and have not yet saved it locally to your own node, you may want to do so by Friday!
